When I entered the room, I must say that I was shocked at how beautifully decorated and clean the place is. It was a very comfortable stay and the hosts were wonderful. The breakfast was also excellent and they offered skippers or omelets for breakfast, as an alternative to the traditional English (or Wale's) breakfast. We also noticed that the... More

Hosted by the very friendly and good natured Gloria and Rob this well equipped guest house is ideally situated close to town and is spotless. Highlight of our stay was the beautiful breakfast. With an array of delicious fresh fruit and choices of cereals followed by a hearty English full breakfast that was served in a professional manner and was... More

Very comfortable room and excellent food. Very hospitable hosts and excellent food/service. Liked the homemade food touches- like the compotes and local jams. Nice stop for our weary feet after longs days walking on the Pembrokeshire coast trail

We were very fortunate to have stayed two nights at the Alandale in late July, 2011. Gloria and Rob are wonderful hosts who made our stay a comfortable experience. Both are welcoming and willing to take the time to offer their knowledge of the area and to recommend adventures around St. Davids. The Alandale is so close to the town... More

This is a very central B&B, just off the main square in St Davids, but on a quiet road (as most of them are!). The bus stop is right outside, no need to take your car - local bus services are great. The hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming, Gloria is lovely and looks after everyone, Rob is friendly too... More

We were at the Alandale as part of an organised holiday for wildlife watching so not sure what to expect. What a lovely surprise. Gloria and Rob were the perfect hosts - not intrusive but they did everything to make our stay there as enjoyable as possible. The breakfasts were delicious and the room comfortable but it was the welcome... More

This B&B is located in the town of St. Davids. The owners, Rob and Gloria are wonderful hosts. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The traditional Welsh breakfast is perfect for starting out your day. We hope to return one day to this beautiful area, and we will stay here again, if they will have us.

Cycled from Carmarthen to Saint Davids and was ready for a rest - Gloria took me in and made me welcome. And Rob's a cyclist too! Ideally situated just above the cathedral, and not far from the only pub in the city. Superb breakfast - set me up for the ride to Fishguard.

Lovely B&B in an amazing part of South Wales. Our room was cozy and warm (important in March), our bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Gloria and Rob were both gracious and friendly, making the stay even more pleasant.
