I stayed here on a recent business trip the location is amazing surrounded by nature. The accommodation was excellent and provided relaxation after working. The menu obviously put together and prepared by a talented chef. The staff were very friendly but could be slightly more polished in customer service in the dining room to reach the five stars. They were... More

We found Slebech Park on the Internet, on a late bookings site. Over the Easter holidays we were touring South Wales and decided to book a night on our way back to the Midlands. The booking was confirmed via e mail and telephone and the receptionist was very helpful and supplied very comprehensive directions. When we arrived to check in... More

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at Slebech Park. Firstly, the room was warm and spacious and the grounds are beautiful but it would appear that my experience of the management at Slebech is the same as many others on this site. I would certainly never return to this hotel and I urge others not to do... More

I was cooking for you that night and I totally refute the comments made by yourselves regarding the lamb dish. It is true we do not serve soggy vegetables, all are ingredients are carefully selected and cooked to order to retain their freshness and taste. Your lamb dish was one of three served in quick succession that evening, all the... More

This is a hard review as we had such a mixed experience. We found the hotel no problem thanks to the clear instructions in the confirmation email. The long drive builds the anticipation and our first view of the estuary was beautiful. The reception was pokey and unmanned and i was a tad concerned, however the process was efficient once... More

Thank you for your very comprehensive critique of Slebech Park. Firstly can we deal with the myth of the star rating. Slebech Park is rated by Visit Wales as having 5* accommodation, it is not and never has been a 5* hotel nor do we in any way to aspire to be. We are very aware that this is a... More

When my girlfriend and I first arrived at the Slebech we were impressed by the location and the friendliness of the reception staff who showed us to our room. Then we opened the door to our room and I thought that I'd entered a bedroom set of Lord of the Rings!!!!! There is a large wooden supporting beam, barely 5... More

We visited Slebech Park the day after our wedding in June 2012 as somewhere to get away for a night to relax after the epic day before! First impressions were very good, a lovely location and the staff seemed very friendly. The room wasn't quite as big as I had hoped for, especially with the 5* prices that came with... More

On a much needed break we were delighted with both staff and accommodation. The room was clean and warm, a pleasure to stay in. Breakfast was served in beautiful surroundings. We were given a choice of cooked food and it was fresh and delicious. Cath served us and she was professional, courteous and efficient, more importantly she made us feel... More

I was told to visit Sebech Park as I also have a 5 star hotel and am looking to expand. I read all the reports before I set off, on arrival was greeted by a well spoken young lady who was really helpful, our room and evening meal were perfect. An elderly couple were also here having a valentine treat... More

Excellent place to stay, even when raining! Will go back when the weather is better and make the most of the beautiful grounds. The room was small but nicely decorated and furnished well. A little more attention to detail when cleaning would be good as there was quite a lot of cobwebs around! We didn't return to our room until... More

Arrived at this hotel at 7.30pm after a cold day. Shown to a room that had no heat and had obviously had no heat for some time (cold soft furnishings, cold carpets and bed linen freezing cold). Informed the girl who had taken me to the room, but she just disappeared literally like a greyhound comes out of the trap! Got... More
