Called in for lunch, four of us. Fish and chips excellent and very tasty crab salad, good choice of local Welsh beers. Very friendly and attentive service, including the chef. We'll be back.

Lovely pub, small but welcoming with a nice view. Very friendly landlord and the chips were to die for!!! Had a very tasty dressed crab, Just about managed to resist the sticky toffee pudding with custard but viewing it from an adjacent table it looked huge and fabulous and certainly seemed popular with the 3 men who were eating it.... Great pub, excellent food and drink. Happened upon this pub whilst visiting Dale. Understand it is under new management so thought I would write a review. Brilliant location and hear it is buzzing in the summer when you can drink overlooking the beach outside the pub.
