My friends and I stopped here for Sunday lunch - thankfully we did not actually stay! Some may feel it unfair to review a hotel based only on a lunch stop but it was such a bizarre and horrendous experience I felt compelled to review it! I don't even know where to start... particular low points were the garlic bread... More

Gadlys Country House Hotel is a lovely place to stay, even in mid-November. We came back from a wedding to a real wood fire. Caring, attentive, welcoming hosts. Delightful coastal footpath walk nearby. We will certainly stay here again.

In June of this year I stayed at the Gadlys Country House Hotel. My time there was so enjoyable that I have returned several times since - the hotel is very comfortable, ideally situated and the evening meals are delicious. Patricia and Paul, the owners, always give me a warm welcome and I am looking forward to my next visit... More

This was our 2nd visit to Gadlys with our walking group. Food was good last time but had actually improved. Gone were the dishes of veg to share, each meal was individually and beautifully presented . One gripe was that, we had a leak in the ceiling from the room above - the same room, same place as last year.... More

We stayed here late last month (immediately after the bikers) and thought that the building, room and comfort were very good. However, things could have been better had there been less of a sterile atmosphere; the food was not "excellent" and could have had more choices on the menu and similarly at breakfast, which could have been served with a... I have just returned from a weekend away, staying at the Gadlys. I was one of a group of 25 motorcyclists who took over the hotel. What can I say. The hotel was immaculate. The views across the manicured gardens, stunning. Service, 1st class. Food, excellent. Bar, a fine selection of beers, wines and whiskeys. A big thank you for... More

Having spent 3 days at Gadleys celebrating my wife's 40th birthday on the 15th of November, I can say that it was one of the best weekends I have experienced in a hotel. The owners were perfect hosts, even presenting my wife with a framed picture of the Menai Bridge as a memento of her stay (for her birthday). We... More
