The food and service is the best in the area. We had lunch at the Hotel. A very good choise on menu the atmosphere is very pleasant buy the sea . We tried to book for a evening meal but they were full. Recommend you book to eat at the hotel

The Unicorn is the big pink house on the hill in Portmeirion. We stayed there for three nights in February. A big plus is that you are able to park right outside your front door. Just come back from one night stay(first time but been on the "list" for years). Very lucky to have wonderful weather on the first day which really brings out the colours of the buildings and the "abroad" feeling of this quirky place.
