Stayed here for one night on August,9th,to break up a journey from South Wales.An excellent single room,good bar service,friendly proprietor and his wife,as well as the rest of the staff.The breakfast was excellent-probably one of the best that I have ever had.Excellent value for money,and I would definately stay here again.

Only stayed the night as attending a wedding. Breakfast was superb and the staff were very friendly.

The outside didn't look particularly inviting but don't be put off. This was a lovely place to stay and well worth the money. Very convenient for Mold. We got a two course meal for 2 for £12 for two, lovely selection and well worth the money. Decent breakfast. Would definately stay there again.

We Stayed ( a group of 12) here for a weekend as we were competing in the Welsh One Act Play festival, this is a 2/3 star hotel and in a wonderful loaction, just a 3 minute walk into town. We stayed in the Bryn Awel hotel on the 22nd to 24th December 2010. Lynette and the staff were absolutely brilliant and so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. my family and i went here last night. this is purly on the restaurant, not the actual hotel. there was myself, my dad and some teenagers. the food was awful, we found 2 hairs in our food, my burger was burnt and the service was appaling. we waited nearly an hour and the staff just left us to our own... SallyHCheshire, above is right in saying that this is basically motel-style accommodation.
