This B&B is a friendly place all the staff are young and eager to please. The general decoration is good, it looks like the place has recently had a makeover. The room we were given was big enough and was nice and warm. The en-suite was a shower and toilet/sink and was very small. We were a bit disappointed that the cleanliness of... More

This pub/restaurant with rooms is right next to Harlech Golf Club, literally 2 minutes walk away. This really is its biggest asset. The accommodation was a little disappointing for the price, but the room was warm and it was nice to have cotton sheets. The beds were a bit soft. The shower was a bit leaky but powerful enough and... More

Called on Friday (15th March) evening on spec for a meal having been highly recommended. Luckily managed to fit us in, probably the best meal we have had in a long time, Food was superb and not overly expensive for the quality. Management and staff were attentive and friendly, a most pleasant change these days.. Will definitely be back. Give... More

Stayed here for one night while working in the area. As soon as I arrived the freindliness of the staff was evident, and all the relevant meal times, location of bar / restaurant, fire exits and access details were efficiently given. Had a room at the rear of the premises with a view of a stone wall - but it... More

I have always wanted to visit Harlech Castle, and I booked a stay at Y Bronwen because it is literally right beneath the castle. Everything about this little gem of a hotel was absolutely perfect. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and the facilities provided were those I would have expected to find in a much more expensive, higher rated... More

We ahev just returned from three days golf in wales, staying at the Y BRANWEN hotel which is across the road litterally, from one of the best Golf course you could evr play, HARLECH. The hotel was clean, comfrotable, and the food fabulous. But Jo and her staff at the hotel were the most freindliest of hotel staff we have... More

This hotel was an absolute find. Jo was warm, welcoming and didn't mind the 4am wake up call to let us in. As an added bonus they didn't give us a check out time, which was much needed after a day of partying at Festival number 6. The rooms were lovely and clean and the bar well stocked. I can... More

On visiting the area to play golf at Royal St David's for 2 days, we were recommended to stay at Y Branwen by the Hon. Sec. Well played, thats what I say. The location was perfect only yards from the course and the welcome we received was second to none. Throughout our stay nothing was too much trouble, rooms were... More

We stayed here for one night in order to play golf at Royal St David's Golf club. The hotel was a great find. The room was spotless and very well equipped. The breakfast and evening meal were great. Fresh food and very well presented. The staff were very friendly. If we decide to play golf at Royal St David's again,... More

Went to the hotel because it said there was wifi and needed to keep in touch with family. There are hotspots but there is not free wifi everywhere. If it is advertised it should be available especially when you are paying for it. Shame as staff were friendly, room was good, breakfast was fresh but the web details oversell the... More
