The room was nice and clean. The beds had new pillow tops on them and I got a wonderful nights sleep after a night of walking around town. I felt as safe as I could in a city like Memphis and felt comfortable leaving my car their and venturing out at night. Wonderful location close to plenty of entertainment for... More

Stayed here for business in April 2012 (four nights). It's a bit dated and worn, but I always felt safe. The first 5-6 floors are a parking deck, with rooms on the upper level. My room overlooked the pool (too cold to swim). Room was clean, but a little tired. Plenty of towels and fresh service each day. No vent... More

This is the most inexpensive hotel in downtown Memphis. I have no complaints on the value. No frills, but it's clean and I had a decent night's sleep. The Econo Lodge is a completely acceptable choice for downtown Memphis on a budget.

This Hotel is very reasonably priced (half of others in the area), rooms are clean, breakfast is basic but there, there is a pool and sundeck and it is a 5 minute walk to Beale St, both Trolley Lines and Main St. Parking is $10 a day and the Hotel is getting a little tired with the lift areas and... I booked this hotel because of proximity to Beale Street and the Convention Center. I had a reservation THREE months in advance. When I arrived, at only 6 pm, they told me they had overbooked 22 rooms, and given my room away. They then LIED that there was a hotel 2 blocks away that could take me-- it was miles... More

Loved the location and felt very safe with the security. Within walking distance to Beale Street on a main street. Hoetel was clean and parking was only $10.00. The parking garage had security also. The hotel staff was very friendly and told me to call them direct next time and they would give me a better rate on the room.... More

I liked the hotel's location but when i return i wont be staying here. The rooms were about 75 bucks a night which is cool because it was so close to beale street.

Receptionists (2) were on the phone with personal calls when I arrived and made me wait. When i finally got my room key we went and parked in the garage (fee). The elevator area off the parking garage smelled like urine and the whole place just had a dirty feel. When we got to the room, the windows were open,... More

PROS. Great location in the heart of downtown Memphis, halfway between Beale St. and the Convention Center. Two blocks to Main Street and the Tram, 10 minute pleasant walk to the Convention Center. Also 10 minute walk to Beale Street (food, drink and nightlife). The hotel is located in a parking structure with reception downstairs and rooms on floors 8-10.... More
