Owner called at 4:57 pm est on day of arrival (had confirmation several days before) and cancelled our rooms for the night. He said that I gave him a bad review last year when we stayed and he didn't want us there. I did not review this hotel, but maybe someone in my party did under my name since they... More

I've never stayed at a Rodeway Inn in my life. However, since I was traveling with the dog I couldn't be too choosey. I'm so glad that I chose to stay at this particular hotel. Yes, the outside is rather questionable, but once you get into your room you forget all of that. And considering this place is smack dab... More

After reading the reviews in tripadvisor we decided on the Rodeway. On the map it looked closer to downtown than is actually is, but with the free parking & trolley (day pass is cheap) it was not a problem. Plus there was affordable parking ($5) if you drove downtown and Linden is a straight shot there. I agree with others... More

When I first drove up to this hotel, I had serious doubts. It didn't seem to be in a great part of town and looked like your general somewhat rundown motel. However, the staff was very nice and more than accommodating when we needed something or had a question. The rooms are very large and clean. I was surprised by... More

Pulling up to the hotel you are very skeptical about the location and how it is going to look on inside. It is right next to the parking garage for the Methodist Hospital downtown. I traveled with my husband to Memphis at the end of March and first of April. Just wanted to get away for a while. The lobby... More

As other reviewers have pointed out this looks like nothing from the outside but the rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Check-in was a little shonky; the lady who checked me in seemed under the apprehension I was staying 2 nights (it was 4) and they could only initially offer me a room for one night and then transfer me... My wife and I stayed here for two nights, March 18-20, 2012 on our visit to Memphis. The hotel is only a few blocks from the trolley stop on Madison and Cleveland streets, so we were able to park the car and use public transportation. Mr. Harry Patel, his family, and staff run a nice, clean place. It is not... More

I stayed here for 6 weeks, along with 2 employees, while working in the area. The rooms were extremely large and comfortable. Like others have noted, it doesn't look like much from the outside, but the rooms are great! Mr. Harry, the hotel manager, is the jewel in the crown. He was very accomodating to our needs, especially when we... More

Our King room was huge. Nothing fancy, but very clean, soft towels and sheets, comfortable bed, quiet air unit, fridge, a desk and separate table, good shower, strong wifi signal. I felt that the neighborhood was perfectly safe. The weekly rate was a really good deal. The weekend rate is a little steep, in my opinion. Would definitely recommend.
