Property is getting old and tired. Lots of rough edges everywhere. Nothing to write home about. But it was clean, staff was friendly. Couldn't deliver on everything they promised, but promised with a smile. The best element was its location. You could walk to the terminal in 5 minutes, which I did when the promised downtown van didn't show up.

Good points :- Helpful and polite staff, quick service in restraunt, beds were comfy, rooms clean and cosy. Hotel ran us to/from Graceland in their bus for a small fee. Despite being next to airport was in a nice setting with trees around it. Bad points? Had to take a taxi from airport on arrival as called for courtesy bus... More

We were not told the beds were sleep number beds and was informed like we should have known. then discovered one did not even work, thereby rudely given another room. In both the bedskirts were very wrinkled. The toilet was stained. The hotel itself was grungy, stains in the carpets and frayed. Fixtures in the bathroom were dirty. We missed... More

Stayed there in May 2011. For it's purpose - getting to know Memphis, walking around all day and returning to the hotel for a shower and to sleep it's a great place. Simple, clean and cozy. I'd stay there again.

Our stay was for one night for the family to meet at a convenient location. The staff at the front office was professional and friendly. The staff made sure that we were comfortable. We were impressed with the courteous can-do attitude among the staff. Job well done to all, especially the manager on duty!
