Following a good walking session around the Sound of Arisaig we arrived at the hotel for a cool drink,as it advertised that it was open all day. Unfortunately, this was not the case! Although we were fortunate to get a drink - although very unfriendly. People who arrived 10 minutes later at the bar were told that they would have... More

A wonderful location to unwind;a few miles from Mallaig; beautiful views and lovely walks. A country mansion with much history; informal and restful. Could easily miss it !. The scenery west of Fort William is spectacular

There is nothing very welcoming about this hotel. The receptionist was the only member of staff who made me feel like a guest. The dining room and bar staff were very off hand.

Staying elsewhere so only had a bar supper here and wished we hadn't. Very limited menu, high prices, slow and offhand service, especially from the eastern European staff, and tiny portions. It's like stepping back into the bad old days of Higland 'hospitality', tartan carpets and all. Definitely one to avoid. Pay the price and go to the Old Library... More

Stayed one night with my elderly parents. Rooms were really lovely, clean and comfortable, bathroom very clean and roomy. We had dinner in the bar and the food was great. No lift for my elderly parents, but we expected that these small hotels do not have them, so it was not an issue as we were on the first floor.... More

Six of us stayed in Arisaig Hotel for five nights, and enjoyed every minute. We were a group of three adults and three children ranging in ages from 7 to 70 years. The hotel is ideally placed for trips to the beach, the Small Isles (the two largest being Eigg and Rum), and Skye (via the car ferry at Mallaig).... More

Unfortunately I only had one night in this beautiful place. The view was great and the hotel fine. My room was very nice with a "new" bathroom. The only negative was the hard, narrow bed. More and more hotels in Europe put 70 centimeters beds in single rooms but it is still very uncomfortable! There is some kind of restaurant... More

I stayed for 2 nights midweek as I wanted to do the boat trip to Eigg. The hotel is ideally situated just across the road from the ferry terminal. As well as being in a delightfully scenic area Arisaig has a station on the West Highland railway so it’s a convenient stopover for touring by train. Although the hotel looks... More
