As a couple we have stayed here several times - always immaculate! Nice fresh, clean rooms, good food, lovely lounge, and welcoming staff. Hotel is in centre of the town with all amenities on hand. Couldnt ask for better. Will definately return!

Stayed one night and was impressed by the friendliness and welcome we received. Room was ok, clean and roomy although bathroom door would not close. Also low doorway to room so anyone over 5'10" duck! Great full scottish breakfast and attentive staff.

Extremely friendly & welcoming staff, clean room & bedlinen, spotless bathroom & shower. Excellent evening meal, very reasonably priced. Good, hearty breakfast. Have friend in retirement home nearby, hence frequent visits. Once tried Royal Hotel in Kirkcudbright for a change—disaster!—so back with pleasure to Dalbeattie & the King's Arms. Its not a big place but have good public transport links,lovely walks The Crown pub and The Kings hotel has lovely food children welcome. Friendly locals and some great shops.Went at Christmas time Beautiful and a great Ice rink.

Stayed at the Kings Arms in July while on a cycle tour. Lovely comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Meals in the hotel were reasonably priced and delicious. Excellent breakfast with a good choice.
