We stayed in a B&B chalet and couldn't fault it. On arrival we were quickly and efficiently checked in even though there were about a dozen people arriving at once. The bar area is clean, tidy, comfortable and relaxed. Nice staff, very busy but stil polite and helpful. The room (a triple) was roomy enough for three people to move... More

An excellent stop for anyone walking the WHW. The reception was welcoming and gave the impression that the hiker was really welcome. I cannot fault the showers/ toilet block and even though there had been lots of rain the pitches were generally well drained, the evening meals and breakfasts were excellent and packed lunches available for anyone requiring them, and... Excellent stop for anyone walking the WHW. I have stayed here regularly and thoroughly enjoyed it every time. Good Food, clean accomodation, great wee bar and pleasant staff, friendly owners who remember regular guests. As to the reviewer who states he was there in February and had a bad experience for him, I'm not surprised nothing was right. The place... More

After walking the last thing we needed was to drag our suitcases up a gravel hill to come to rest in a garden hut (aka wigwam).. Worst night sleep i have ever had, the mattress was like sleeping on a doctors examination table infact one of the group referred to it as a morgue. The showers however were lovely. The... More

Two of our party of four stayed in a B&B chalet, the other two used the wigwams. We ate and drank in the cafe bar and bought sandwiches in the shop. All in all an excellent experience. There wa a limited choice of veggie sandwiches but that was no problem - "I will just get the chef to make what... More

We stayed here whilst walking the WHW - the pitch was £20 for a 2 man tent and dog which we though was fairly pricey but other than that the place is fantastic!! The little pub had a live band and we had some dinner whilst soaking up the Scottish atmoshphere! If you need camping supplies the little shop is... More

Stayed here last week whilst walking the WHW. Arrived at 1pm and they made our room up early. We opted for a superior B&B chalet and it was fab. Luxury in the middle of nowhere! Polite staff, great value, food was well priced and plenty of it. The best power showers on the WHW. Highly recommended.

We stayed in a Chalet which was excellent. Very clean and comfortable. The en-suite shower was great and the chalet was very warm. Our room was not ready until after 5pm which I found a bit odd but was told they were understaffed. The food and drink was expensive as they know there is no real choice to go anywhere... More

We stopped here on route to CrInlarich. The service was discourteous and not very friendly. Despite us being the only customers they asked us to leave our small ruck sacks outside. Nowhere else asked us to do this and it seemed strange on a walking route. Won't ever be back

I have passed these Wigwams on many ocassions over the years but I never really had the time to stay in one until recently. I have stayed in Wigwams before at other locations and had a good idea how basic they were, but I was shocked at the condition of these ones. The Wigwams are in a poor state, dirty,... More
