We stayed here during a West Highland Way trip, and found a comfortable, clean, and very friendly place. The room was small, but well appointed, with a lovely bathroom en suite. The stream outside the window provided soothing background music all night. The breakfast was the best of our trip, with baked trout caught by the owner Heather's husband, and... More

What a pleasure staying here. We have a lodge ourselves and can really appreciate the work done to their expansion. Was very clean and best yet was the down to earth warm hospitality. More

Stayed here during our walk on the West Highland Way. The owner served us tea and coffee on arrival, chatted with us to ascertain our breakfast preferences, and proceeded to take on a load of our laundry (a service they advertise on the web site). I can honestly say that the breakfast was one of the best we had in... More

Stayed here as part of walking the WHW. Got here after 19 miles of walking in the rain (and a thunderstorm!) - welcome was fantastic. Immediately brought a pot of tea and two big slabs of cake each. Breakfast is huge and plentiful - I really can't fault this place!!! More

We stayed here for one night whilst walking the West Highland Way on which must have been the wettest week this year. We had a fantastic welcome from Heather with tea and fresh pancakes on arrival. A hot bath to warm us up was bliss and the room was bright and very comfortable. Breakfast was fine to send us on... More

We stayed at Tigh na Fraoch for one night whilst doing the West Highland Way. It's located just off the WHW and was easy to find. Heather was very welcoming and on arrival, made a pot of tea for us and some homebaking.....yummy, it was just like being in a friends house. Our room was spacious, light and airy and... More

Modern bungalow with extension and re-decoration just finished, tucked down a quiet lane with stream tinkling gently outside. Very warm welcome from friendly and down-to-earth host Heather, with tea and cakes on arrival and good conversation after breakfast. Would definitely recommend. More

Stayed one night during our West Highland Way walk. Friendly welcome from Heather who served us a hot coffee on arrival. Very quiet away from main road, backs onto stream on the other side of which is the footpath. Ultra clean and modern. More
