We stayed here for 2 nights march 2012, and we really enjoyed the hospitality of Angie and Mick, they make you feel at ease from the moment you meet them, you have the use of a really cosy lounge with a view to die for across the loch, There are 2 rooms for rent and as we we,re the only... More

We decided to stop on our way home from a weeks holiday in Kintail. We had prebooked the B&B, choosing it because of its location and Tripadvisor reviews. When we arrived we were greeted by our fellow guests, we had been left a note by Angie apologising for not being there as she had to go and pick Mick up... More

Oh Boy! I used to think that one had to go to Tibet to have a "true adventure" and visit the more remote places on planet Earth ... I dont think that anymore! A true adventure can be found just an hour out of Glasgow! You will never forget it! As a previous reviewer commented: the drive to this wonderful... More

This was our 3rd visit to Lochside B&B. We had a super time even though the weather wasn't so kind to us this time. We opted for the evening meals and again Angie and Mick provided delicious menus. Breakfasts are amazing too. I love the salmon & scrambled egg - a real treat. We visited Inverary, Dunoon, had lunch at... More

Lovely clean rooms and sitting room with breathtaking views of loch goil. Angie and Mick made us feel very welcome, and advised us on local walks etc. couldnt do enough for us. We were welcomed with tea and home made scones and Angie's shortbread is to die for. My sister and I loved every minute of our stay, it was... More

Lovely place, made so special by two great hosts as well as its spectacular view. Angie and Mick were so welcoming and friendly, and really made us feel at home. Special touches such as gorgeous shortbread and scones were much appreciated! Fabulous location, close to the Lodge where we were guests at a wedding. Would definitely recommend!

Heading down the tiny road to Loch Goil we wondered where on earth we would end up and I have to admit to being slightly worried we had made a mistake. I cannot put into words just how wrong I was! From the second we set eyes on Loch Goil itself we were smitten and our decision to stay at... More

This was our second visit to Lochside B&B. We went back with my parents this time, as we'd loved it so much the first time. We went to celebrate mum's 60th Birthday. It was a wonderful few days and Angie and Mick went out their way to ensure it was just perfect and helped to plan a few surprises for... More
