My friend and I had a lovely break in Helenburgh recently and stayed in the Shiloh Bed & Breakfast. Sandy was the perfect host and really went away and above in her efforts to help us have a really pleasant break. Sandy sent us off to the Carrick Leisure Centre and we had a truly memorable visit. Thanks Sandy for... More

Superb B+B,very welcoming, a spotlessly clean room with view out over Clyde. 2 chairs in the room which are much more comfortable for watching t.v. , reading or just watching the world go by than sitting on the bed. The breakfast menu had plenty of variety and they managed to produce an egg to my husband's rather exacting specifications. If... More

We stayed over on a Saturday evening. Went into Helensburgh centre for meal at night, it was fairly quiet town though, had nice 10 min walk back to B&B. We had the bedroom on ground floor and it was lovely. Big soft bed, nice and clean, big windows. There were chocs/mints with the tea and coffee and this was a... More

From the moment we arrived we felt as if we were coming to stay with family. The breakfast was outstanding and the location right on Clyde St. is hard to beat. I will definitely be staying here again if I return to Scotland!

I organised a mini golf weekend for myself and 3 male friends, comprising of a Saturday round at The Carrick on Loch Lomond, followed by another 18 holes at Helensburgh GC on the Sunday. After a bit of internet research and having consulted Tripadvisor, I chose The Shiloh for our accommodation on 26 March. As well as being horrifically bad... More
