Just back from an overnight stay with the girls , had 3 rooms and each room was clean and spacious although one was piping hot while one was freezing cold. Myself and my wife stayed for one night at this pleasant hotel. The hotel itself was very nice. The room was adequate, the bathroom a good size. We ate in the restaurant and found the food good but a little expensive. We didn't use the hotels spa . A good location for loch Longmont.

This is a nice looking hotel, warm and comfortable, good spa, but me and my husband spent the three night stay in room 52, and had to complain about twice each day about the smell of cigarette smoke blowing into our room. Friendly staff and good food. Rooms clean and spacious. Value for money all round. Well located for Loch Lomond. Restaurant and bar very welcoming. I have stayed many times and always received the same excellent service.

We had a very enjoyable two night stay in room 42 on the 14 and 15th March. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food very good and had a lovely evening meal. Would recommend this hotel. End of first day on the West Highland Way and the spa -- swimming pool, steam room and sauna -- is a bonus for walkers, in a hotel offering great accommodation at a reasonable price. Hotel restaurant is pricier, but again worth it after a day;s walking. HIghly recommended -- to walkers and others exploring this part of Scotland.

Stayed here for two nights whilst working in nearby Alexandria. This is a great hotel in a very peaceful part of the world. The room was very clean and nicely furnished if a little dated. The bar and lounge area are very comfortable and welcoming. I didn't have time to try the leisure facilities but they seemed very well used.... More
