Stayed for short break and have no complaints at all. Had booked a double room but on arrival we were offered the stable as it was available for no extra cost which was a nice touch and the stable was lovely. Very clean and a fresh continental breakfast provided every day. Would recommend and will stay again if in the... More

We stayed for 3 nights over Easter as a family of five. Sheila had prepared for us the twin and family rooms and looked after us wonderfully with little touches that make the difference: from tea and scones when we arrived to fresh flowers in the rooms and chocolate eggs on Easter. Very tastefully decorated B&B, great breakfast cooked on... More

We stayed for a night on the way up to Skye. Sheila really looked after us and created an absolutely wonderful breakfast. If you are in Balloch then its a lovely spot although Ive dropped it down to 4 stars as the location is a bit further from town than what I would have personally preferred. Thats neither here nor... We stayed at Dunbain farm on a short break to Scotland. The surrounding area is full of things to do and the accommodation was very homely. Breakfast was great and the welcome was warm.

Needed a place to stay close to the Ross Priory for one night with husband. Beautiful, clean and tastefully decorated B and B. Really quiet and peaceful but equally close to local amenities such as Loch Lomond Shores, supermarket and local restaurants. Double Room was spacious with a sofa and next to it was a twin room which we did not... More

Stayed here for a night and both mum and myself wished it could have been longer! Sheila was so lovely and friendly and helpful and the room was large and beautiful with a full sized bathroom rather than a small ensuite. It's the little touches that make such a difference and Sheila is an expert in them from beautiful flowers... More

If you are looking for somewhere to stay near Loch Lomond and wondering which B&B to choose, look no further. You will not be disappointed. We stayed at Dumbain Farm for three nights and received a lovely warm welcome from Sheila (who owns the B&B). We were extremely impressed at the very high standard of accommodation. The rooms are spacious,... More

We first stayed at Dumbain in 1999 on our honeymoon and decided after many years at Centre Parcs to venture "out" on our annual holiday. Where better than Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. There was only one choice, Dumbain. We stayed in the Stable with our 2 children, 11 and 8. The accomodation was spacious and comfortable. DVD player with... More

This summer, my wife and I had booked a 3 night stay in Dumbain Farm as part of our roadtrip in Scotland. This B&B was one of the best we experienced this summer. Although it is very close to town, the farm is situated in a quiet area, surrounded with open grassland. Sleeping rooms are in a spotless state and... More

My wife and three young daughters stayed here on our way up to the Black Isle,to break our journey from Leeds. I had booked on the recommendation of Tripadvisor reviews, and was really impressed. We stayed in the Granary and had 2 double rooms and a seperate kitchen diner, which had all provisions for the following morning breakfast. Sheila the host was... More
