We did not stay at this hotel but felt I had to review the restaurant. While Staying on Bute we used the hotels restaurant for our evening meals and each time found the staff very friendly and food of excellent quality.The large specials board had everything from steaks to seafood , the sea bass was excellent.

My family and I went for dinner at the Kingarth Hotel. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and the food was excellent. Great for steaks, burgers and seafood, with lots of specials to keep the menu interesting.

Have to agree with the other people on here about the ploughmans ....I have travelled far and wide, but there is not a better ploughmans to be had this side of the equator. You may wonder why it takes 20 minutes to have your ploughmans prepared, but you will spend the next hour savouring it over an ice cold drink... More
