Stayed her 11 to 13 May paid for sea view well worth it. Room lovely food great and a gluten free diet well catered for. Staff couldn't do enough for you and cabaret was good. Its not the Ritz so don't expect it but you don't pay Ritz prices I still give it 5 stars. It is an old building... More

Recently returned from the Glenburn and had a wonderful time. Am tired of reading the negative reviews sent by some guests about the Glenburn. How much are these guys paying for their stay? The way they go on you would think they are paying a fortune! The Glenburn is probably the cheapest place to stay in Rothesay and the BEST!... More

Always wished we could stay at the Glenburn, finally got the chance. It is still an iconic building on the island and you can see it has been a place of real quality. On arrival, no one to be found at reception, a walk through the huge lounge area to the downstairs bar, revealed, no one to be found..?. Eventually,... More

We recently stayed at this hotel on a National holidays trip that the carpet was threadbare and the curtains were badly ripped. Also friends with us stayed in 219, their curtains were also ripped. The food at this hotel was really good and the staff were very friendly. I borrowed an extra pillow though and it had blood stains on... More

Im sorry you were not happy with your room, we do have an on going programme of refurbishment, but as you can imagine with a building of this size it is impossible to do everything at once. I am pleased to see that apart from your room you were happy with the other aspects of your break. Many thanks for... More
