The B&B was warm, welcoming and very comfortable with excellent facilities, nothing was too much trouble for Frank and Barbara throughout our stay. Fantastic scottish breakfast to start our day, all in... More

Beautiful, spacious and comfortable suite with amazing views. Great breakfast which set us up for the day. Frank and Barbara were the perfect hosts. Very hospitable and had great knowledge of the island. Will definately be going again and would highly recommend this b&b to anyone wanting a break.

Booked a twin room with en-suite for the Guitar Festival (The Big f). Superb size, beautifully clean, well heated, even in September. Plenty of sofa space to lounge in and the twin beds were very comfortable. We were really spoiled. The big windows lent themselves to fantastic views of Loch Striven. Frank and Barbera are very welcoming. As lads, we... More

A couple of townies from Glasgow-we decided to visit Bute for a long weekend and do the walk across the Island. We had a brilliant stay with the Moorings, very friendly, helpful and good knowledge of the Island and the walk across Bute. The room was one of the best we have stayed in-it had a en-suite with a bath... More

We stayed here for just one night as a family of 3. The building is a lovely old one and right on the water front overlooking the sea. Our family room was spotless and the beds were extremely comfortable giving us a great night's sleep. The owners were pleasant, helpful and obliging. There was a good choice for breakfast, so... Great choice! We found this BnB to be really comfortable, friendly and relaxed. The hosts were totally obliging and happy to chat. The view from the front room was spectacular. (Well, the weather helped, it was sunny and still, unusual for Scotland we hear!) Breakfast was wholesome, plentiful and tasty. And the cost was reasonable. We plan to be in... More

We both really enjoyed our time staying at the Moorings whilst visiting friends on the Isle Of Bute. Frank and Barbara were incredibly welcoming and friendly throughout our stay and the sea front room we stayed in was spacious and beautiful. The breakfast was a delight and the freedom provided to us during our stay was refreshing. The other guests... More
