What a pleasure it was to see this B&B so close to the WHW when you enter the village. Paddy gave us a warm welcome and we experienced this B&B as one with a high standard. Everything was clean and tidy. The only minor point is that there is only one toilet with washingtable which has to be shared with... More

This B&B set in beautiful surroundings was perfect for walkers on the West Highland Way. The facilities were of an excellent standard with a high spec finish. I spent a very comfortable night there and would rate in as the best we experienced on the West Highland Way. Paddy was very welcoming and provided us with an excellent breakfast chosen... More

The seemingly ordinary surroundings of Forest View hide a real gem of a place. It has been recently created to what we regarded as the highest standards seen on the West Highland Way. The rooms, facilities and decor could simply not be faulted, and it's only a short walk to the pub. Paddy is a welcoming host who obviously cares... More

Friendly, clean rooms with tea / coffee making facilities and a good cooked breakfast. En-suite showers available and communial (shared) toilet. This accomodation is a good location for walkers on the West Highland Way or to use the indoor climbing centre (The Ice Factoiy). I used this as a base for climbing Ben Nevis. There are several pubs in the... More

Good b&b, very clean and tidy. Friendly and very helpful host with great knowledge of the local and surrounding areas. The breakfast gives you a great start to the day, with a good varity to choose from. The views are a breath of fresh air with a local waterfall just a walk away. Only 30 mins to Fort William and... Thank goodness we were able to book into this B&B with it's close proximity to our route. Being rather unsure of where we were going - or what eateries there may be available, we were met by our very amiable and hospitable host anxious to make our overnight stay as comfortable as possible. An interesting arrangement - ensuite shower with... More

Forest View is the first bed and breakfast on the West Highland Way after a long, weary descent into Kinlochleven. A perfect stop - clean, relaxed atomosphere, genial/helpful host (Paddy) - what more can I say!!
