My brother had his wedding here it was a perfect setting and the staff were very attentative. Food was five star. Shame there were no pastries at breakfast! Standard rooms a little dated so worth spending to stay in a suite. We would love to return.

It's the views which make this a very special hotel. We visited for a fantastic wedding weekend and marvelled at the Loch each morning from our bed. What a way to wake up! The food at the wedding was top notch and the old house could have been conceived for entertaining wedding parties. A hire car is essential round these... More

We stayed here as a couple recently through the group on deal. Initial thought was it was very quiet, but very peaceful. We arrived, checked in, the staff were very very friendly and helpful, gave us a tour of the hotel, showed us the bar and restuarant etc, then to our room. Initial thought of the room was a touch... Went for an overnight stay with dinner included. Staff very friendly and efficient. Rooms lovely with big bathrooms both with bath and power shower. Hair dryers bathrobes tea/coffee all supplied for your convenience. Dinner was fantastic but not cheap at £45 per head. Location stunning, views to die for. Not much to do although we did find a wee local... More

The situation is nothing less than spectacular, set at the edge of Loch Awe below Ben Cruachan & the other grand Argyll mountains. Reception was very informal, whereafter we were led to our bedroom by way of a short though rather narrow stairway- no lift though, which might not suit some who are accustomed to 5 star hotels! The bedroom... More

Fantastic little hotel with free fishing on Loch Awe and the most delicious food we have ever come across. We stayed in a junior suite which had views over the loch, a truly huge bed and large bathroom. The decor all seemed fresh in the rooms that we saw and the whole hotel was very clean and well looked after.... More

We booked this on Groupon 6 weeks ago and i'm so pleased that i did. £88 for 1 nite stay with breakfast although we paid extra for the Suite wich was stunning, although the Junior suite overlooking the Loch was gorgeous. Food was 7/10 wine list extensive but also expensive. The location was Paradise. The only downside was the Set... More

Stayed here for my husband's birthday in April 2012. It was ideal for him as he is a keen fisherman. We stayed in room 1 which overlooked the Pier/Jetty. Very pleasant room furnishings and a nice classic touch with Molton Brown toiletries. The food was very nice but at £45 a head I think I would look to eat in... More

This hotel is in a lovely romantic location overlooking the loch the view and location is quite simply stunning and we really enjoyed our stay for that alone The hotel itself is tired & old, wallpaper coming away from walls, really uncomfortable 4 poster bed, no hot water we were told to leave shower running to heat up but after...
