I don't agree with the review below. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Clunie Lodge. The hosts were more than happy to help with any needs, and were very friendly. The house is peaceful and the rooms are very spacious with amazing views. I enjoyed the breakfast, it was served quickly and was lovely. I really recommend staying here.

We loved our stay at Braemar end of April 2012. Based on the recommendations at tripadvisor we booked a room at Clunie Lodge. The house is nice, the rooms are clean - however the bathroom is very small. What is not mentioned here and came quite as a surprise: since March 2012 Clunie Lodge has new owners. It is now... More

We loved our stay at Clunie Lodge - our host was delightful and welcoming, full of knowledge about the local area and its most famous inhabitants..! The breakfasts were amazing! Delicious and extremely generous in size, just what we needed to set us up for long days out in the hills. Our room was extremely comfortable and we slept brilliantly.... More

The welcome we received and the level of hospitality at Clunie Lodge was outstanding. From offering to wash and dry our walking gear, borrowing flasks of hot drinks, fixing packed lunches and arranging a ridiculously early breakfast for us, our every need was cheerfully catered for. If only all B&Bs were like this (and so reasonably priced!). Keep up the... More

Braemar is a perfect location to explore the beautiful Cairngorm Mountains and Royal Deeside and Clunie Lodge is the perfect place to stay. Located in the heart of Braemar, Clunie Lodge has a real sense of history. The rooms are immaculate, warm and comfortable and Karen's breakfast is simply the best! We've stayed many times and the welcome and service... More
