We ended up extending our trip to Skye, and booked here at the last minute. We were definitely not disappointed. The first thing we noticed about the room was the absolutely stunning view, and we got some great pictures of the sunset. After our long week, we were completely exhausted and spent most of the evening in bed and enjoying... More

We stayed for a night at Carnbeag recently. Lovely views from the room, and a number of hikes close-by. Margaret is a wonderful host and answered all our queries but gave us our privacy and space. When a taxi was not available her father dropped us off at the pier- truly wonderful hospitality. Will certainly stay here again on future... More

Had a two night stay at Carnbeag on our weekend in Skye. Found the B&B very comfortable and welcoming. Margaret is a great host and very friendly. Had amazing weather while we were there and the views from our room were stunning! Really good breakfast which set us up for our long walks during the day nicely. And in the... More

Ideal for our purpose of a night on the way to the ferry for North Uist, but would be an excellent, comfortable and welcoming base for anyone wanting to stay on and explore Skye

Called up Carnbeag Bed and Breakfast as a last minute booking, and was delighted that not only was it open (Jan 2012) but that there was room available. Margaret was a brilliant host. I was given a double room at single rate, which was much appreciated. The room was en-suite and had one of the best shower i've ever been... More

This B&B has a lot going for it. The welcome was warm, our room was nice, it was modern, and the breakfasts were extremely good. Unfortunately it sits on the top of a hill with the wind blowing in from the sea almost constantly when we were there. The immediate area around the B&B is a bit tired with rough... More

We stayed at the Carnbeag B&B in September. The house is modern and very clean. Our two rooms were very comfortable with ensuite bathrooms and hot showers. WIFI is freely available. Margaret serves an excellent breakfast that set us up very well for the day.

Lovely clean and new house. Large ensuite, and good views from the room. Reasonably priced for Skye Couldn't fault it!
