Two nights spent at this wonderful guest house was the perfect short break. Excellent breakfasts and delicious three course evening meals cooked and served by Betty made us feel as if we were in a five star hotel! Our bedroom was beautufully decorated and had everything we needed.

We went to Hallaig Guest House in the summer of 2011. We had a lovely, warm and comfortable stay with Willie and Betty. They made helpful suggestions for our stay on Isle of Skye. Breakfast was delicious and our room was very adorable with a big bathroom. We hiked at the Quaraing which is quite close by. The house is... More

My friend and I spent one night at Hallaig as it is close to Old Man of Storr. The stay was enjoyable. The space was warm and inviting. I entered the sitting room and it smelled like cinnamon spice and apples. Our hostess was delightful. The room was clean and neat. Many options available for breakfast and the hostess will... More

We spent two nights at Hallaig Guest house and what a lovely experience it was. Our party consisted of 2 adults and one child so the family room was perfect as it had the added bonus of having a bath as well as a separate shower. We had two great nights sleep in very comfortable, warm beds. The food was amazing... More

The only B&B that we came across that offered scrambled eggs with smoked salmon for breakfast! Aside from that, room was clean and there's bathtub which allowed for a good soak after a wet day outside. The location gives great views of the Quaraing which is pretty nearby; you will definitely pass Old Man of Storr and Kilt Rock on... More

We were traveling through Ireland and Scotland for three weeks in September, staying mostly in B & B's. We stayed at some very nice B & B's and had some awesome Scottish breakfasts. This was our last stop before going home. We were looking forward to our time on the Isle of Skye and all of the reviews on trip... More

We stayed at Hallaig for two nights in September and were won over by the location (in northern Skye, a stunning part of the island), Betty's heartfelt welcome, the cosyness of her home, the spacious room and comfy furnishings: this is absolutely how we imagined a perfect Scottish B&B to be.

It is located in the northern part of Skye island, with easy access to explore main attractions. The B&B is really nice decorated, quite modern style. Everything is new and clean, and rooms have Sky. The bed is really comfortable. We only stayed 1 night but I wish I could stay for longer, it really feels like being home. Breakfast... More

Loved our 2 day visit with Betty at this B&B. Comfy and spacious bedroom that was very clean and nicely furnished. Initially we were apprehensive about the location which seemed rather remote (must have a car!) but quickly fell in love with the peaceful surroundings. Great location for hiking and Betty recommended a walk which we thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely... More

Had a wonderful stay at Hallaig last week.Betty Campbell, the owner, was a warm and welcoming host. The rooms were lovely and clean, comfy beds and an excellent breakfast before our departure.I have never been drawn to using a B and B before but my two experiences on the isle of Skye have made me reconsider this in the future!!
