Balloch is in a good spot in Portree, right off of Viewfield Rd. They have a good size parking lot where you can get a few vehicles in. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the harbor area and is a 3 min walk to the Petrol station where there is a mini mart you can buy snacks at. The... More

We were made very welcome, and the room was clean, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and we appreciated the lift with our bags to catch the early bus. A very pleasant stay in spite of the weather!

Barbara Campbell took us under her wing and made our stay a treat. We were without our own car so Barbara drove us to town for our dinner time. The B and B is all you can expect with comfort, service and a particularly good breakfast. You can't miss here.

Barbara and her husband really look after their guests with warmth, care and quiet efficiency, We stayed 4 days and enjoyed their hospitality. Room was extremely comfortable and breakfast was up with the best B&Bs we have experienced.

We returned here after visiting 6 years ago. Delighted to say standard still impeccable, food great, hospitality superb will return sooner. I can't find fault with this guest house, This is an easy choice when looking for accomodation on Skye.

The lendlady gave us a warm hospitality, there was a high level furnitures, very good breakfast and with even Nutella there. The place was easy to find and well positioned in Portree. It is worth to return in this place if again in Skye
