A friendly professional greeting awaits you from a couple that love the area. Views are breathtaking, food excellent. Spotlessly clean rooms. Handy for good restaurants. Close to mainland, but with easy access to all of skye. Ron can provide expert advice on walks and scottish whisky.

Hosts were lovely and the setting was idyllic. Good value for money location to explore the island. Noticed some dog hairs in the room but in general was clean.

With such a lot of B&Bs to choose, this was a great recommendation to me. Overlooking the sea, mountains, this homely bungalow has comfort and quality. On a quiet road, just 0.2 miles from the main road where there is an excellent restaurant ('Red Skye' - go there too!) Tir Alainn is a great base to explore south Skye, a... More

when we came to sky for a few days we made our first stop at Lower Breakish. A lot of B&B's where still closed. It was allready in the evening when we found a warm welcome at Tir Alainn. Our host Ron showed us the room, wich looked nice, clean and quiet. And he gave us options for breakfast. The... More

We stayed 2 nights at Tir Alainn at the end of March 2012. Ron and Pam were very welcoming and friendly, and had excellent advice about where to eat and what was worth stopping to see on our driving tour around the island. We were offered tea and shortbread on arrival, and settled in quickly. The surrounding area is very... More

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights with Ron and Pam; we wished that we had booked more time there. Ron was most welcoming on our arrival; our room with ensuite bathroom was spacious and had a lovely view of the back fields. We were able to relax in the lounge prior to going out for supper. Ron knows... More

We stayed at Tir Alainn from October 13th to October 17th 2011. A small friendly B & B. Located in Upper Breakish it is handy for Broadford and Kyle of Loch Alsh. Tir Alainn is ideally placed for local restuarants and supermarket. It is ideally situated for lovely local walks. There are beautiful views from the bedrooms, lounge and Dining... More

My sister and I visited Ron,Pam and Tally (the dog) for a short break at the end of the Summer. Our hosts couldn't have been more welcoming. Excellent accomodation, breakfast first class, fantastic walks and beautiful views. A veritable font of knowledge on all that Skye has to offer Ron was an excellent guide whilst Pam proved to be a...
