A good pleasant night stay. Excellent location and good staff. However, everything creaked and the Male Showers/toilets were under renovation so all Males had to go through the reception area for their morning oblations.

Situated on the harbour front, Tobermory Youth Hostel has a prime location. However it does seem to suffer a size problem. We had a private room which had space for five and there was just two of us. We found this hostel. staff welcoming, friendly and helpful. The dorms clean and warm. The facilities were good and had everything we needed. Their breakfast was good too. Great location and parking right outside the door. All in all, yes its basic, its a hostel but we thought it was good value for money.
