We spent two nights here. Lovely room right at the top of the house with an excellent shower and huge comfy bed. Margaret and Donnie are very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was great and we liked the way Margaret asked us whether we would like an extra egg each. Highly recommended.

Spent one night here whilst Island Hopping, and were made very welcome by Margaret. Our room was very comfortable, with television and tea/coffee making facilities. Nice toiletries and lovely fluffy towels provided in the en-suite shower room. Lovely breakfast selection, and food was well cooked and presented.

Maggie & Donnie who run this B&B are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them! Our room was lovely with a fabby modern bathroom. Breakast has everything you could wish for, and more! We stayed for 3 nights during the National MOD and Donnie even became a 'taxi' for us. Thank you both so much for a... More

The room was comfortable, of course, all the regular things you'd expect. What I really want to mention is that we had to leave at 5am to get the ferry to Skye. When we got up that morning, there was a very generous packed lunch waiting for us, with sandwiches, fruit, drinks and treats! An example of going above and... More

I recently attended the Hebridean Celtic Festival with my daughter and stayed at Dunroamin after an unpleasant evening in the Hebsurf Hostel on Francis Street. Margaret and Donnie were fully booked but recognised our desperate situation and squeezed us in. We had a different room each night and the living room was extremely comfortable!! We only had one night in... More

Travelled to Stornoway in May with my Dad, researching my Mum's side of the family, who originate from the island. Stayed 3 nights here in the twin en-suite room and couldn't fault the servcei or hosts. The breakfasts were great, our room was very nice and we had a good nights sleep each night. The hosts Maragaret and Donnie were... More

Lovely B&B, situated in the centre of Stornoway, 5 min walk from the bus station (very important if you're relying on public transport). Only 1 room en-suite, but the scrupulously clean bathroom is only shared by 2 other rooms, so there's no problem. Breakfast is fantastic and - apart from the usual delicious fare - also includes fresh fruit salad... More
