This is an old style working farm where David and Helen made us very welcome. The bedrooms and sitting rooms are very comfortable and clean and the breakfasts and dinners are good quality and plentiful. We didn't bother with much for lunch! Stayed two nights in bunkhouse in company of other solo travelers, and the location could not have been better. The bunkhouse was clean, cozy, warm, friendly. The farm itself is gorgeous and the sea is just down the way, sunsets are a step away from the door. Very highly recommended for bunkhouse element. Did not stay in B&B.

Simply put, you need to GO to Galson Farm. It takes some time and motivation to get to the Outer Hebrides, at least if you are not in the near vicinity, but it is beyond well worth it. Wonderful setting by the sea and accommodation in interesting house bursting with pictures and ceramics. Post Office in reception - you don't get that everywhere!
