This was a perfect place to stay for our first trip to Islay. Wonderful hosts. I'm not joking about first class - The Monachs is first class all round. Welcome, space, comfort, excellent food, warm welcome. A wonderful situation overlooking Loch Indaal. Quiet at night and a great base to explore. Loved it!

Wonderful stay in this little jewel on Islay. The hosts, Marie and Ronnie, have gone out of their way to bring the best of Scottish hospitality combined with a beautiful establishment. I would doubt if there is a better B and B anywhere else in the UK for the money. Definetly worth a visit.
