Tom & Eileen were very welcoming and helpful. Even emailing us to find out how we got on when they found out that our trip to Shetland was in doubt when we had been let down by the Guest House there. Would definately go back.

Eileen & Tom Worthington are excellent hosts and have a great place up on the hill out of Stromness, with stunning views over the harbour to Hoy. Lindisfarne is only a short way out of Stromness with good views over it and out to the hills on Hoy. The rooms are spacious and the welcome warm. (Walls between rooms are a bit thin so that noise does percolate through, but not to the extent of being a great problem). Stromness is a good location for West Mainland.... More

Stayed in the Lindisfarne self catering cottage last July for a week and it was the best experience I've had of self catering anywhere! Mr & Mrs Worthington couldn't do enough to please us during our stay and there was not one thing that wasn't provided in the accommodation - from coffee maker to salt in the cupboards....I'd rate this... Stayed at Lindisfarne, just outside Stromness, for a long weekend. Hosts very friendly and helpful (even gave us a lift into town for a night out, to save us driving).
