Friendly but cheap owner. No heat in bedrooms (I had to use my hairdryer to the heat room!) or kitchen (we used the oven for heat!) Not recommended for a winter stay!! More

I have very much enjoyed the Brown's Hostel. It is tidy, spacious, nice rooms, and a very open and relaxing policy. The Hostel has a wonderful location in the centre of Stromness with internet access, a large kitchen and living-room with great sofa's.
