We stayed one night on our way further north and it was pretty much what I expected.....camping facilities but with better protection from the elements in a wooden wigwam. We were upgraded to a larger wigwam which I was glad about as the smaller ones look much older and a bit decrepit compared to the larger ones (although I didn't... More

The staff were all very welcoming and friendly we particularly enjoyed having a laugh with the your bar/restaurant staff. The food was excellent a very high... More

We were originally put in larger lodge which we didnt think was what we had booked and we were right.4 hours later we were asked to move after unpacking entire car and had baby in travel cot at this point.was given... Just came back from a 3 day stay in a wooden cabin at East Grange, Kinloss. The kids, aged 8,9 and 11 didn`t want to come home and plan on going back again next year. The cabin had a shower, small kitchen, one bedroom for three and further sleeping for 2 in sitting room. Very cosy with metered electricity which... More

We booked a four night camping holiday for ourselves and three kids (14, 12 and 9yrs old). We found it no problem as the directions were very easy to understand and there are sign posts from the main road. All the staff were friendly, approachable and very helpful. I also found the last comment about the noise of the trains... More

We spent four nights at East Grange Farm with our two young children and my wife's parents. We did not use the wigwams or lodges as we went for the budget option of camping. On arrival, we were met by the (always hard-at-work) father of the family-run farm and he decided that, as he had not had time to cut... More

Many thanks for your positive comments. It makes all the hard work worth it. I am sure that you would have enjoyed the "wilderness" campsite. Hopefully, as demand increases we shall be able to up grade and introduce more modern facilities for the "canvas" campers!! More

We are just back from our stay at East Grange. Had a fabulous time. We are a family of 4 and a large wigwam was ample for us. Kettle, toaster and fridge was all that was needed for us to have Breakfast in the wigwam and for snacks later on in the evening. Lazer tag was great fun and boys... More

My children dog and I stayed in a large wigwam between the 2nd - 6th of April 2012. We arrived at about 8.30pm, after a long drive from London, in every kind of weather conditions possible!! East Grange is hard to find in the sleet and dark. We went to the loft to get our keys, reception was closed, Emily... More

The wigwams are like pointed-roof lodges, very simple with a few windows and one large room. This site had (as far as we couldl tell) small and large wigwams, but no en-suite ones. Not that that mattered as the neartby shared facilities were clean and extensive. Sleeping in the wigwams was warm, cosy and with ample space for baggage. The... More
