We were a large party. Did not stay. Just popped in for a bite to eat at lunchtime. Reception by barman lacked warmth or interest Service slow. On asking, homemade soup of the day was said to be mackerel (interesting we thought). When it arrived clearly tomato, no explanation offered. Tasty and not out of a tin. Bread rolls a little dry.

Photos on the internet of the rooms only show the two best rooms. Others were cramped. Internet tells you that you have sky tv in the rooms... but you do not. Also, tells you that you have wifi in the rooms but could not get it in my room. Would not say it was worth the £95 per night considering... More

Had a lovely lunch here recently after a visit to Rosslyn Chapel. Very cosy, lovely food, the only problem was that the service was quite slow.

Stayed here when on business. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Service was great and very friendly. Food was lovely in the grail resturant which had some great photographs of Roslin Chapel on the walls. I had some problems getting onto the wifi in my room however the hotel manager managed to fix this for me. I would stay here again.
