In this small, but charming fishing village, you can't do better than a night at the Waterfront. The rooms are well appointed and still retain the charm of a BnB and the included breakfast offers choices both hot and cold with gigantic portions. The staff is super friendly and the rooms and accompanying restaurant is steps from the bobbing boats... More

While travelling through Fife, we stayed for one night in the Waterfront hotel in Anstruther. Romm was very nice, comfortable, fish and chips were excellent. We would recommend this hotel to everybody. Scenery and the atmosphere in Anstruther is a special bonus....

In honesty I stumbled across this place when I refused to wait in a huge line for takeaway at the fish bar. I can safely say since that day some many years ago I book The Waterfront everytime! The food is fresh and out of this world. The portions are great. The staff friendly. The scenery if you get a... More

Stayed there on a short break in May. Our room had a huge king size bed, which was extremely comfy, room was spotless. Ate in the dining room on the evening of our arrival, food was fantastic. The hake and Chorizo is definatley a must try

We were taking the b/f's dad for lunch, he wanted to go to Fife! So off we went to Anstruther. Decided to go to the Waterfront, which was the best idea! Lunch was lovely, the mackerel pate is to die for as were the homemade oatcakes. Great portion sizes and very reasonably priced also. Would definitely recommend eating here. Only... More

We visited this restaurant last week. We have never used the hotel facilities, although the whole place had an air of being very well looked after. It was a spur of the moment meal out - I ate there a few years ago, and remembered it being excellent. We weren't disappointed. NOTHING could have been better - the setting, the... More

Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night but we would gladly have stayed more. Huge king size bed, quiet rooms and extremely helpful staff. Excellent breakfast and amazing seaside views! Would not hesitate to recommend to family or friends.

We stayed just one night and found room clean with huge king size bed. The welcome on arrival was friendly and efficient. Dinner was excellent and the staff friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious and nicely served. Anstruther was very busy (saturday) and it was difficult to find a parking space. Had to park a distance away then get car... More

My husband and I have just spent two nights here. The staff are so nice and helpful and the quaintness of the accommodation tucked away at the back in courtyard is great. The breakfast is super and the room itself - no complaints. However, a big complaint (and only one) is the noise factor in the downstairs' room. The floorboards/doors... More

The accommodation in the Bakery was very comfortable and quiet tucked away behind the street in a lovely garden. We enjoyed the fish and chips in the restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive.
