My wife , son and I had the pleasure of staying at this abode whilst attending my Grand-Daughters wedding. Phil & Ron were the perfect hosts, who went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. I have only stayed in one that bettered this and I married the Land- lady.I would recommend this B&B to... More

myself and my partner stayed at this BnB for a weekend, the BnB is very clean and the owners were very welcoming. Breakfast is lovely and worth waking up for, thats if you can drag yourself out of the large comtable bed. The rooms are large and you would forget that your staying in a BnB. I would stay here... We stayed in Ivy cittage Bed and Breakfast as part of our friends wedding at Larchfield estate. The rroms were gorgeous and extremely comfortable and breakfast was homley and delicious. Transport to and from Lrachfield was much appreciated and the stay was the perfect compliment to our wedding experience. Thank you. Gemma and Gary.

We stayed at Ivy Cottage for two nights on our one week trip, most of which we spent in Northern Ireland. It was a great location for exploring ancestral origins in County Armagh, driving the Ards Peninsula, and seeing the Mourne Mountains on our way back to Dublin. On our arrival, Ronnie greeted us with tea and cakes, and soon... More

Our short stay at Ivy Cottage B&B was a happy 'accident'. Plans had changes just that morning and we had no reservations for the evening. After getting names of several B&Bs in the area, we found just one willing to take us on such short notice. Even though we arrived very late, due to the hospitality of friends in the... More

I was there for just 2 nights - for a friend's wedding at the Larchfield Estate. The highlight of my first trip to Northern Ireland was not just the lovely wedding - but also the stay at the Old School House - Ivy Cottage. The breakfast was superb, and the service excellent. Phyl did not make me feel like i... More

This B&B is situated in a wonderful location. It is set in a rural area that is very quiet and relaxing and yet very comfortable in terms of getting around and site-seeing. The owners are very nice and welcoming. The hospitality was wonderful, the rooms spacious and clean. We spent 18 days in Ireland and Ivy Cottage NI was one... More

This was another return trip for me and, amazingly, everything from the fantastic welcome, great rooms, the peace and quiet of this rural location to the food, is still absolutely brilliant! A real home from home really, so Phyl and Ron, thanks again for a fantastic time. I look forward to staying with you again sometime.
