The house is built in a way that you can hear everybody and every door..... Bathroom not very comfortable. Bed terrible soft, Windows not consistent - wind blowing thought. Manager nice, breakfast ok.

needs an overall redecoration. I felt like I was in my granny's house, with the old fashioned furniture, curtains, and carpets.
There was a lot of smaller details that need to be adhered to also, like paint peeling off the wall, stained carpet throughout the building, ripped bedsheet and VERY noisy floorboards.
Over all, check-in was not the friendliest.

Stayed with friends in April 2012. Staff were friendly enough and location worked well, since we needed to stay close to Ballymena town. Rooms in general are ok, but the accom feels more like a hostel than a guesthouse. Decent sized rooms, but a real mish-mash of furniture (some of it damaged), stained carpets, lovely sash windows that don't stay...

Our first time in Northern Ireland and at The Beechfield but definately not the last!! Rochelle couldn't have been more helpful and organised our taxi from the hotel and some drinks for when we arrived (about 10.30pm). Nothing was too much trouble. The room was spacious (room 7) and an iron and hairdryer were provided on request. Keys provided for...

Was attending a wedding in the area and needed somewhere close to stay. The experience was most disappointing.
On entering the room it was freezing, I had to ask for the heating to be put on. Drapes were hanging off, the bedroom window latch was broken and we were therefore unable to close the window. It also had green mold...

I stayed at the B&B for two nights with my wife and our first impressions weren't great. The room was shabby, the bathroom door was hanging off and the carpets looked ancient and dirty. However the bathroom & shower had both been modernised and were good but there was no soap/showergel so we popped into town. The staff were all...

The room was generally tatty, and not particularly clean, but my biggest issue was no hot water. At all. This really is one of my worst nightmares after a long day travelling that there was nothing but ice-meltwater to freshen up in. Not the night we arrived, nor the morning after. And we had a wedding to go to.

I stayed at this lovely guesthouse for 3 nights and intend to go back as it was so great. Rochelle, Ross and all of the staff were the epitomy of friendliness and provided warm, homely hospitality. My room was very comfortable, had a modern bathroom and extremely clean. Ross was a wonderful young man who happily brought my luggage up...

Was happy enough with our stay. We only stayed the 1 night as we arrived late after a wedding. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and clean. The room could have done with some more toiletries in the bathroom.
This was my first time staying in a B&B and will certainly be my last! The room was very dirty, the bed was really uncomfortable that i couldnt sleep. There was an awful smell coming from the en-suite! Breakfast i skipped, but my partner said was terrible. The price was quite dear for a B&B, when i could have stayed...
