Having been eaten at the Horton Inn on a number of occasions we were looking forward to a lovely Mothers Day lunch, but were very dissapointed with the food and the service, long wait for food to be served, poor selection of vegetables. The 'carver' seemed annoyed when one of our party asked for some beef that was not 'pink'.

I recently visited this hotel, & I would like to let everyone know that it is under new management since early December, & was absolutely BRILLIANT ! The rooms are not modern, but clean, food & service truly GREAT !

I went to the Horton Inn yesterday with my Wife, Daughter and Son in law. We had a perfect three course meal each. Good Quality and Good Portions. The staff could not have been more polite and helpfull. We really enjoyed our visit. I cannot understand the previous bad reviews. We will definitely go there again.
