This was quite beyond our expectations. Pauline and John, who have a wealth of knowledge about the local area, were the perfect hosts and the cottage where we stayed was immaculate with everything you could wish for. The breakfasts were a delight with local produce, and where possible home made recipes, being used - try Pauline's fruit soaked hot honey... More

My family and I just stayed at the Highway Farm for 3 nights. The greetings from Pauline and John were very warm ad genuine. The room was beautiful, thoughtfully furnished and needed nothing else added. Breakfast was superb - just up my street with minimal use of oil; I recommend the bacon. The fishing was superb - my son was... More

We booked a last minute trip to west dorset, and were very lucky to find a last minute cancellation at Highway Farm, Pauline and John gave us a great welcome after a long journey, and we had a great ensuite room on the ground floor, the shower was fantastic....! We slept soundly and the breakfast was simply great and set... More

Always a friendly welcome from Pauline and John. Superb B&B just on the western outskirts of Bridport. Easy walking distance to a local pub (Ilchester Arms), right next to the bus stops for the main Exeter to Weymouth coastal routes. We've stayed in two of the rooms on our three visits, both were excellent quality, with generous, modern, and clean... More

A great three nights. Pauline and John make your stay welcoming and friendly without being intrusive. Highway Farm is likely to be a firm favourite with us. The farmhouse is spotlessly clean and the rooms very comfortable and pleasant to be in. Breakfasts are outstandingly good. More

What a lovely place to stay. Delightful clean house, wonderfully comfortable and views to die for. Pauline and John are extremely hospitable and generous hosts too. They'll do all they can to make you comfortable and suggest places to eat, activities, walks etc. Felt relaxed as soon as we got there, breakfasts on the lawn overlooking the valley were delicious... An excellent B&B run by a great couple, Pauline & John. The location is just outside Bridport, which makes for a more rural setting than staying in town. A great breakfast with a beautiful view overlooking the valley. Beautiful rooms and reasonably priced, we have no hestitation in recommending it! Perfect location if you have a wedding in the area,... More

Lovely big room, bathroom great with impressive shower. Stayed 3 nights. Breakfast (local produce) outside on the patio overlooking the fishing lakes and valley. Superb setting. The bed was a bit soft for our liking - but it's down to personal taste. Wouldn't stop us from staying again. Very welcoming hosts with lots of suggestions of where to go visit... More
