I was in a party of six staying in Beaminster for a weeks holiday and had booked a table for six on the Friday evening. The meal was excellent, couldn't fault it, Reg and the restaurant staff really looked after you . We enjoyed the meal so much that we went back a few days later for another meal, again... More

We were in Beaminster after a walk locally, looking for a place to eat and just happened to notice the plants outside - walking down the road we saw BRASSERIE and hopped inside. Nice furniture and pictures, interesting menu - fabulous mussels and a snail rarebit followed by tagliatelle. Good service, all of a very high standard and properly done.... More

We had a fabulous 3 night stay here and had the most wonderful time. Home made biscuits and coffee to welcome us in the beautiful lounge with roaring log fires. The rooms were fabulously appointed and had amazing bathrooms. Toiletries were of a high quality Molton and Brown and petit fours left on our tea and coffee tray. The meals... More

We stayed for three nights, in late March with our labrador. Everything was done to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Food was outstanding as always and the staff were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. We look forward to our next stay.

We had a 2 day stay here and had a great time. We were given a very large room, traditionally furnished with a huge bed plenty of chairs and a flat screen t.v. There was another bedroom plus a seperate small sitting area, seperate toilet and good size bathroom with walk in shower...Molton brown toiletries....we thought it was a bargain.... More

We only stayed here for one night - but could easily have stayed for at least a week. What a perfect little gem of a hotel. On arrival, we were immediately given the option to upgrade from a superior to a de luxe room, and the room was 'de luxe' indeed: huge, with a massive bed, perfectly comfy bedding, and... More

My S/O, 14 year old son and I stayed here In December for a friends wedding that was held in the hotel. We arrived quite late on the Friday night and the reception staff rang my friend to see if we were Ok, knowing we were flying over form Ireland!! We landed with apologies but they did not seem to... Stayed for long weekend in four poster room. There isn't much to do in Beaminster. We were hoping that there would be nice pubs and other restaurants to be able to walk to. There are a couple of pubs, but both look a bit downmarket (like old working man clubs) but there are no indian/chinese/italian restaurants. There is the Wild... More

A group of 10 of us (with kids in addition) descended on this delightful independent hotel for New Years weekend. The staff were fantastic - dealing with the bombardment of requests from all the kids (and grown ups), the food was exceptionally good too. A 7 course New Years eve menu was well planned and cooked very well. Pre dinner... More

We bid on a stay in this hotel at a charity ball and I was very pleased to have been successful as I had heard good things. We really enjoyed our weekend in the west of Dorset. The hotel was great, food really good, bed comfortable (four poster!). The efficient staff made us very welcome when we arrived quite late... More
