Just got back from a 2 night break here & we were both very impressed. Plenty of car parking at the front of the hotel with expansive grounds, 2 tennis courts, 9 hole pitch & putt, outdoor pool plus just through the private gate the beautiful beach of Woolacombe. Our room was very spacious with a huge bed (that would... More

For such a beautiful building in a very picturesque setting this hotel is neglected and poorly managed. We are a family of three and have literally just returned from a 4 night stay at the hotel, we were promised a superior family suite with sea views but when we got there although the room was spacious, the views were obscured... We have stayed in this hotel many times over the years. We stayed for a two night break recently, we were given room 308. The room has great views of the sea, but the bathroom only has a shower and there is no room to swing a cat...... or your towel drying yourself and we were not informed that this... More

I stay at this hotel several times a year, mainly on business, so avoid the main Summer season. As always, you get a warm friendly reception and all the staff are very pleasant. The hotel is a bit of a rabbit warren, as some of the rooms can be a good walk from reception, some up and down levels on... More

My wife and I and another friend spent a most enjoyable mini break (3 nights) from 22nd April. Our rooms had recently been upgraded and were superb. The breakfast is excellent with a large buffet and further choices such as kippers. Our DBB terms gave us a huge choice for dinner with one menu that changed daily and a comprehensive... More

Booked for 10 shooters to stay here for 3 days. Very attractive rate for B&B plus dinner in a traditional stylish hotel in great location. Main restaurant menu changed each night, staff and service very professional, food very we presented. Breakfast choice was first class. They also have a locked gun room. I will happily return here when off season... More

We have been spending a week In the apartments out of season for many years. Woolacombe is quiet in March and wonderful for beach and cliff walks. There are a good number if pubs and cafes open around the area. The flats are reasonably well furnished and warm. Hotel facilities i.e. Pool, sauna and steam room are free to use.... More

Holidayed here multiple times and would come again and again (5 stays so far). The location is perfect and children of all ages have fun. The bar and brasserie are contemporary whilst restaurant is formal. Lack room service and adequate lounge areas.
