Having been a B&B guest at Catsheys several times over past years, we couldn't resist the temptation of having the place all to ourselves in the autumn! Although I admit having to cook our own breakfast was a bit of bore, we had a fabulous stay relaxing in the lovely warm embrace of the place. What we had enjoyed in... More

Catsheys is normally a B&B which has been let out for this summer as an entire "luxury" house through Unique Home Stays- we paid £2800 for last week in August with elderly parent and our 3 boys. Not warned about it's remoteness and the main line phone unplugged by owner and taken away - we had 4 mobiles between us... More

This is our second stay at Catsheys and we'll keep coming back! Rosie and David have created a very comfortable, homely atmosphere at the end of a very narrow Devonshire lane where it is very peaceful. Breakfasts are great with most ingredients coming from their much nurtured organice veggie garden. Fresh eggs every day adds to the 'farmy' feel. Beds... More

Stayed two nights as a birthday treat for my partner. The house is at the end of little road in the middle of the propper north devon countryside. Living in london but from the country originally this was exactly what I was looking for. Propper peace and quiet and some downtime in beautiful surroundings Rosie our host has a beautiful... More

What a lovely generous review of Catsheys - thankyou! I'd just like to point out to anyone reading that the pool is SOLAR heated and therefore susceptible to weather changes. But it does raise the water temperature enough to make it a comfortable swim most of the time! More

My husband and I wanted a plush B&B experience and we got it in droves. The location is remote but perfect by virtue of being well away from noise and other distractions. With plenty of nearby pubs and restaurants in the nearby villages and the coast not far away too, you are prefectly located to enjoy all apsects of Devon.... More

This was my second stay with David and Rosie Ames and my wife's first. As expected, this vist exceeded our expectations of warmth and friendship with sumptuous breakfasts, forest walks, feeding the animals, learning about the nature - in a totally relaxed atmosphere. We look forward to visiting again to chill and be ONE with this beautiful area of the... More

This is the place to stay if you'd like a relaxing and extremely peaceful environment. It's a bit off the beaten path, but suppose that's the entire point! Rosie was a great hostess and offered many suggestions for us in the local area. The room was large, the bedding was great, everything was clean. The bath was surreal...only the faint... More

We had a wonderful stay at Catsheys. Rosie and David made us feel welcome, and were so helpful. The room was beautifully decorated, over looking the amazing garden. Breakfast was a real treat. You must ask for the scrambled eggs - out of this world We will definitely go back in the future to try thr pool Lauren & Antony

Following another visit to Catheys, Rosie and David our hosts could not have been more welcoming. This perfect Oasis is in a secluded spot, just outside the little North Devon town of South Molton, with its quaint shops, Good pubs and award winning tea rooms. Catheys itself is a tranquil retreat like no other. The huge grounds are great for... More

The room was big and beautifully appointed with an equally spacious en suite. Lovely organic toiletries, super comfortable bed. Brilliant breakfast, with lots of options. Superb garden. Delightful hosts were very helpful with lots of local info, even recommended events for us in Cornwall which is where we were headed after we left them. Look forward to returning next time... More
