We have stayed here before and always found it fairly comfortable. It just needs the family who run it to stand back and be critical of how they run it. We think it's superb location might make them slightly complacent. It just needs tweaking.

Got a deal otherwise I think I would say this hotel is a tad pricey. However the room was lovely with fabulous tea & coffee facilities and gorgeous views. Nice and clean. Good place for afternoon tea.

Stayed again over the weekend with family for a birthday celebration. We have visited the Commodore on several occasions and have never been let down. The food is excellent no matter what you order, service is first class the waiters know exactly what they are serving, are very polite and very very efficiant. I have used the resturant on many ocassions, so it must be good. Relatives have stayed there time and time again, so that must be good. I have booked parties there - always successful. A fine hotel in a superb location. The staff also show the best example of local hospitality!
