I stayed here for 4 nights during a course. On site parking, warm welcome, super en-suite bedroom, excellent breakfast/ lounge room. Spotlessly clean. Chris provided a flatter pillow and the fresh fruit and yogurt breakfast I desired with no fuss. When next in the area this will be my first choice of accommodation.

A group of us recently stayed at Carberry Lodge for one night during a charity walk. On our first day we walked from Torquay to Carberry Lodge in Exmouth. We were greeted so warmly by Chris the owner and shown around the lodge which is superbly clean, modern and very well furnished. The breakfast was excellent and very plentiful! I... More

We booked for four nights - a short break. Ideal landlady, very welcoming. The house was spotlessly clean throughout. Breakfasts substantial and well cooked. Rooms light and airy with good view towards the estuary. Bedroom well furnished with plentiful hospitality tray. Only negative comment - we found the beds too hard for us. A super shower in ensuite. We would... More

My Mother and I have just returned from a one night stay at Carberry Lodge and wished we could have stayed longer. We were made to feel most welcome. The twin room and breakfast room has lovely views and the accommodation and food were first class.Spotlessly clean and comfortably furnished. We would recommend this bed and breakfast without hesitation and... More

Cosy, modernly furnished B&B in residential area of Exmouth. Views of the River Exe estuary. Room has everything you need and furnished well, including comfortable bed, tea&coffee making facilities and tv/dvd. A very peaceful night's sleep.. only early-morning sounds were the seagulls. Ensuite was very clean and had powerful shower. Breakfast was lovely and substantial. Owners very friendly and hospitable... More

We visited Exmouth for a wedding and stayed here overnight as it was close by the reception. The house was beautiful and had stunning views of the estuary. The room we stayed in was bright and airy and everything was spotlessly clean and decorated in a thoughtful way. The shower was gorgeous, didn't want to come out. The next morning... More

We went to Exmouth for a family wedding, and chose Carberry Lodge because it looked immaculate, and also boasted a cuddly dog called Cassie! We were welcomed by Chris in bare feet, which set the tone for a very relaxed stay. The house is immaculate, the bed comfortable, the shower nice and powerful. Once we were given our key, we... More

My wife and I have just spent three nights at Carberry Lodge. Nicely situated about a 15 minute walk of restaurants, pubs and the main shopping centre, yet quiet enough to get a decent nights sleep. Our spacious first floor bedroom had a good en-suite shower room and lovely views towards the town and estuary. Chris and Donald made us... More
