Rachel and Nick are very welcoming and the accommodation was comfortable and clean. The food was excellent with lots of choice and it was all fresh and home cooked. Free wi-fi was available and the location is very picturesque. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and would happily stay there again. Keith & Sandra D.

I came here to attend an Italian language weekend which is something offered at Blair Lodge several times a year. In addition to receiving excellent tuition, there were interesting and delicious Italian style meals provided, something I was not expecting but much appreciated. The rooms are very comfortable, and there is a nice bar in the dining room.

Rachel and Nick really know how to pay attention to people's needs and they enjoy creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. The location is wonderful, the room was clean and well appointed and the food delicious. Everything was done to make our weekend at Blair Lodge very special and memorable. Joy and David Martin.

Rachel and Nick are very welcoming and attentive to any needs you may have. Great food and lots of extras. Fantastic location in Combe Martin. Stayed in a twin room. Bathroom was a little small to be comfortable.

We were a party of seven walking the SW Way. We've walked nearly 300 miles on this path over several years and this must be the best B&B of the lot! Nothing was too much trouble - from tea and cake freely offered on arrival (and not added to the bill), through all the little touches like flannels in the... More

The team made me very welcome indeed on entry to the hotel, this continued throughout the stay, the lodge is spotless throughout and well presented. The dinning is well worth the effort to stay for evening meals and the team are on hand for anything that may be asked for. I recommend a stay here.

Three of us stayed here on our way along the Coast Path in March 2012. The welcome was really warm and friendly and so many little kindnesses - rinsing and tumble-drying wet clothes, allowing me to use the phone for an 0800 phone card call abroad, tea in front of the rugby - made Blair Lodge a very special place... Very welcoming, nothing too much trouble, great food, Rachel and Nick are very hospitable and have all the local knowledge. Nick happily took us to Hunters Inn so we could do the coast path back over the Hangmans (fantastic) and has all sorts of maps and suggestions. The food was superb and Rachel kindly loaned us a flask for coffee.... More

From the firm warm handshakes from Rachel and Nick to the goodbye wave as we left this was simply the best stay at a guest house we have ever had. Friendly helpful advice from Nick about proposed walks, wonderful food beautifully presented from Rachel, squeaky clean rooms and facilities and the gem of a view towards the bay all made... More
