Not long back from Guernsey, stayed at St Georges for 4 nights. Absolute bargain!! Cant understand the whingers on here. What did you expect? I travelled alone, all the single rooms were taken so they offered me a double at £34 a night!! Nice room, No 2, top floor at the front with lovely view over the Bay towards the... More

Booked for the weekend, arrived nice and early on the friday morning (9am), did think that the room would not be ready, but it was and we checked in and where given room 1, not such a good room! right on the main road and was rather noisy at night and early morning, especially boy racers on the night. The... More

Thank you for your review. I am surprised at your review of room one, because it is the most requested room we have and personally I think it is beautiful with stunning views of the Islands. Perhaps you just picked the wrong time of year. We have just done a check of the rooms today and the only thing I... More

The guesthouse is fine, ok, alright. Our room was above the kitchen and facing the forresters pub (number 14, bit noisy in the mornings) and had a very diddy ensuite, but was otherwise clean and perfect for our three night stay. The mattress however was very uncomfortable (unless you like springs) - our friends were also staying there and had... More

Thank you for your review I was surprised it was not better since your ,friends and partner have been here before and were awarded our repeat customer discount. Also quite disapointing that when we offered to change the rooms for you to room 3, which is a family room and therefore, much larger and has a chiropractic mattress, that you... More

I recently went to Guernsey for a daytrip, on my own and booked at short notice due to a poor ferry crossing. Wow! Clean room, comfortable and a superb breakfast buffet in the morning! Staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed in room 10, facing the coast road, but at no fault of the establishment, did hear the boy racers... More

We chose St Georges for convenience and price (it was the cheapest place we could find in St Peter Port). It was clean and comfortable and not too far from the bus terminal and ferries - also a flat walk! Breakfast was good. It was, however, very noisy both nights we were there as it is on quite a busy... More

Just returned from a week in St Peter Port and we stayed at St Georges Guest House. The location was great, just about ten minutes walk to the centre of town, but very flat and by the sea which made the walk enjoyable. The traffic was a bit of a nightmare, but that can be said for all roads in... More

After reading the reviews about St Georges we were really looking forward to the stay. However, it wasn't what we expected and in the end we ended up checking out one night early. The main problem was that the first room we got was small and noisy. We were woken multiple times in the night with music, TV noise and... More

When you first enquired two weeks before you wanted to book with us, we informed you that we were fully booked at that time due to the Royal Wedding. However a cancellation occured and we offered you this last room that we had available. Bearing in mind we were fully booked, it was extremely difficult to change your room but... More

I have just arrived back from a 2 night stay at St Georges in Guernsey and found it to be extremely good accommodation. The location was ideal, just a 10 minute walk to the town centre. The room was clean with a wonderful sea view. Shower was hot and powerful. Breakfast was filling with a wide range available. Finally I... More

The room was servicable, and clean with fresh linen, towels and comfy beds. Bathroom was clean. Could help yourself to extra sachets of tea/coffee/ milk and sugar from the trolley on the landing, which was really useful. Bacon and Sausage at Breakfast is perhaps the best quality i have had in a B&B to date.. Plenty of choice and you... More
