We were in Bansha for a wedding!! From the minute we arrived, we were made to feel extremely welcome by the lovely Mary!!! She was so hospitable and showed us our room which was very comfortable!! We were offered refreshments. The hot water bottles at night were a real treat and the bathrooms were great. The breakfast was awesome!!! Mary... More

We were well received at Bansha House, Mary was lovely and showed us straight to our room which was spacious, comfortable and cosy. Bansha House is just outside Bansha centre down a small lane so it is very quite. The breakfast was fantastic with more food than you could ever eat. One fantastic surprise was to be greeted with tea... More

Stayed here for a wedding on 26 Oct this year - I could not have asked for a more enjoyable experience. The house is beautiful, warm and very spacious and our stay here with Mary showed that B&B's can be far better than hotels. Our room was huge with a large mirror and sink. There were two very warm bathrooms... More

Thank you Mary for your warm hospitality.Have just read previous reviews, yes it is difficult to provide 21st century standards in a 300 year old house but our experience was a warm comfortable stay in beautiful surroundings.

Stayed at this hotel for a night as we were attending a wedding in the area... Arrived to find no tea making facilities in the room after travelling a good distance to get there, the room was like an ice box even in July and very dated and the bathroom was full of mould! They owners havent spent a cent... More

It's a nice little B&B and right next to stables and a track, so you can see them working the horses in the morning. We had two, comfortable, good-sized rooms and although my kids stayed in a room without a bathroom, it still had a sink. The bathroom down the hall was quite big and nice and they girls didn't... Was at Bansha House for two nights. The owners of the house were warm and wonderful. Not only did they allow us to check in early from a redeye flight, but offered us some bread and tea as we must have looked quite weary. This place is a solid reminder of the reason we stay in B & B's -... More

Bansha House is the true Irish experience you imagine when thinking of Ireland... from your first impression of the beautiful 300 year old victorian mansion as you turn up the driveway to the magnificant Irish breakfast served each morning. I think I am now addicted to the Bansha House and cannot determine if it is Mary's cooking and caring ways,... More

We had been touring around Ireland and had not planned where to stay that night. We drove through Limerick and grabbed a B&B guide to see where would be nice for the night! Saw Bansha House and thought yes I like the look of that, I adore that period of house. Luckily she had a room available. We arrived at... More

Craggy Island! Breakfast was served to the sound of mass on the radio, the house is decorated in an old fashioned manner, think of the house in Father Ted. It cost 90euros for one night, you could stay in a reasonable Manhattan hotel for cheaper. The owner, an elderly woman is taking advantage of people, weddings in the area mean... More
