Although we got a special deal for our stay at Castle Leslie, I can only say we were treated to an overnight of luxury from start to finish. I can honestly say i have never been treated so warmly and friendly by staff . We had a bottle of champagne delivered to our door which was delightful ,and although we... More

I have stayed in alot of good hotels and this place really is the most special. Once you get over the shock of no tv in the rooms and not every room even having a shower you will soon see that this just adds to the sense of tranquility about the place and helps you relax so much easier. The... More

I have stayed at very many hotels and castles in Ireland and elsewhere, and this is a match for the best. It's easy to see why Paul McCartney and other celebrities have booked out the estate for their lavish weddings. The castle building is superb, set in fantastic rolling hills with lovely lakes - try the long walk around the... More

Myself and the hubbie have just returned from our stay in the lodge. The Lodge is beautiful, peacefull surroundings with beautiful views. The staff are very pleasant and very helpfull. The food was lovely. Our room was 'Prince' which was huge with a seating area and a bathroom with a roll top bath. Our only issue was that the duvet... More

I booked into this castle with my girlfriend to attend a wedding there. It has it all! The most amazing grounds. The most amazing melt in your mouth food. The most wonderful, helpful staff and the castle itself was out of this world. I am the type of person that likes modern new buildings. I usually shy away from castles... More

From the warm welcome at reception in the Lodge to the close attention to our every need at breakfast the laid back Irish hospitality shines through; dining in Snaffles restaurant was excellent and happily busy on a Tuesday evening adding to the atmosphere. Our room Minerva, each one in the Lodge named after a horse! was well appointed and comfortable... More

There are many “Castle Hotels” in Ireland. I’ve enjoyed the privilege of staying in quite a few of them and Castle Leslie is now my absolute favourite without exception. For equestrian enthusiasts like my wife this place is excellent but even excluding the equestrian activities, Castle Leslie is superb. We booked a two night B&B+1D break including an hour each... Fantastic staff, quirky rooms but luxurious at the same time... with a twist ( visit the bathroom and you will see what I mean) - real understated comfort. For the star rating, the atmosphere is v relaxed, the food delicious and the views.... stunning. The spa is a nice touch... I would go back time and time again. We were... More
